I have been lucky to have found my "Calling" in Life. They say, that in order to do something well you must enjoy it. Before I came to Canada 10 years ago I was a Teacher of English at a University in Russia. But when I came to Toronto, I decided to change my life in every way, including my career. I decided to try myself in a business environment and I never regretted it!
I find my role as a Realtor to be actually very similar to that of a teacher. I work a lot with first time buyers and one of the first and most important things you need to do as their Realtor is educate them; to save them a lot of time, energy and money. However, educating is an important step in dealing with any client, even those who are far from being a novice in real estate!
Patience is another "Teacher's habit" that I brought into my new career. Whether it is a purchase of a new home, a sale of the existing one (which typically is the greatest asset a client has), or both, the process usually requires a good deal of psychology knowledge. That 's when personality charts from my Psychology course come handy, along with Negotiations and Conflict management Training!
One of the most rewarding aspects of this career is the very challenge it represents, as it constantly requires to continue training in various aspects of this vast industry. I love learning and so in 2009 I completed the requirements of a Mortgage Broker registration course and became a Mortgage Agent. Even though I never concentrated on this profession as a career I found this knowledge to be very useful in my real estate work. It helps me explain all the basics of real estate purchase financing to my clients and match them with the right professional when the time is right.
i chose FOREST HILL REAL ESTATE to be my Brokerage because it is one of the fastest growing real estate companies in Toronto and GTA and I love the optimistic and friendly approach to doing business. It is associated with Luxury and great looking homes. I joined this company in 2014 (before I worked in Remax, Century 21 and Homelife) and since then I have received awards for steady growth in performance. I want to thank all my clients, who over time became my friends, for their support and trust and me, I really appreciate it!
I strongly believe in Knowledge, Professionalism and High Ethical standards in the real estate industry as this is my career that I intend to dedicate the rest of my life to. I strive to be the real estate professional who does not need to advertise all the time, who is recommended by past clients to their friends and families, who is humble, approachable, yet efficient and influential, who values Honesty and Intergrity above all else.
